VAJRA REALM is another name for classic, traditional Tibet. Nadine created this pilgrimage in dance as a western Buddhist bearing witness to both the majesty and tragedy of what remains in present day Tibet.

Including some of the greatest women singers of Tibet and the imagery of its female Buddhas, this choreographic journey pays homage to the empowerment and wisdom of women within Vajrayana Buddhism.

The film opens as a yatra in Central Tibet. All the dance scenes have been filmed outdoors at Tibetan sacred sites and are an homage to the radiance of the Buddhist path. Starting in Lhasa the journey goes through a 17,000 foot pass and arrives at legendary Ganden Monastery.

The dancer embodies the universal flow of breath that ripples through prayer flags, moving clouds and the human heart.
